Peggy Whitson breaks US record for most time in space by an astronaut

allstarrmultimedia

This is interesting. No matter if one is a fan of Star Trek, Star Wars, or others space/sci fi media, having someone real actually spending time in space can be interesting. According to the piece: "At 1:27 a.m. EDT (0527 GMT), she broke the previous total of 534 days, 2 hours and 48 minutes set by NASA astronaut Jeff Williams at the end of his fourth spaceflight in September."

It can be both scary, and exhilarating, to be in "space, the final frontier." While I would love to be exploring it with my light sabre at my side, just to have the chance to do so would be a huge deal.
