Did you see the solar eclipse

The 2017 solar eclipse in the US. I had experienced a lunar eclipse, when I was younger, but not a solar. In my area, it was about 90%. It seemed sort of like dusk, I suppose. It was mainly dim, in our area, as opposed to totally. We used welding torch faceplates, to serve as our "solar glasses," to watch the action. We had what looked like a small sliver, equivalent to a crescent moon. Looking through the welding lenses, it was odd seeing the sun as green!
