Using One Person To Suppress Others

Dylann Roof found guilty of Charleston church slaughter. Because he posed with a Confederate Battle Flag, many have latched on to saying "It's proof that 'the Confederate flag' is only a sign of hate." Yet there are many different variations of "the Confederate Flag." Most do look similar, although there are differences between the national flag and battle flag, and others there.
However, to blatantly ban the flags, in general, violates our freedom of speech. It's ok to burn the US flag, but not have the "battle flag." I tried putting it on some custom merchandise sites, like Cafe Press and Zazzle, with "Constant Wars and Illegal Wiretapping, Your Biggest Concern is a Flag?" to make a political point. However, because of the image, it was immediately pulled, and I wasn't allowed to use it, at all, because it isn't PC to have, despite there being bigger issues at hand.
