Auctions Launched

Amos Ministries has now launched our auctions page. These first few items for bid are to help support our operations, with a special emphasis on those we help in our Fathers' Voices podcasts.

The starting bids are the "Fair Market Value." As per our Tax Info page, "Donors who purchase items at a charity auction may claim a charitable contribution deduction for the excess of the purchase price paid for an item over its fair market value." The amount over the FMV is what may be claimed, and goes to support Amos Ministries, Fathers' Voices, and others.

Some may wonder if you can pay for the auction via crypto. Using the NowPayments option, it auto converts to CoinBase's USDC, with their 1:1 to the USD. Before doing so, be aware of network or gas fees, as well as the network you are sending the crypto to, such as Ethereum or Polygon, and any conversion fees, and add that to what you will send.

We prefer that you only donate to our MetaMask address: 0xbE2Af09B21b8f1615a9b3940E18899E8E632F631.

If you want to use MetaMask for auctions, please only use stablecoins that are 1:1 with the USD like USDC, BUSD, GUSD, TUSD, etc, since there is no auto-convert. We suggest a low fee network, like Binance smart chain or Matic/Polygon.

Keep all of this in mind, before bidding with the intention to pay via crypto. If you fail to send to the correct network, address, and other aspects, the crypto may be lost on the network, and we won't be able to help. Thus, we highly suggest you use the NowPayments option!
