The last month or so has been busy. A lot of it had to do with my car.

First, I was helping some friends in Idaho, with a ride...and my car started to overheat. Then, it seized. Steering became very difficult. Pulled into a gas station, and it turns out not only did the belt break, but the water pump totally fritzed. Small town, and if it wasn't for the bus system and CDA casino, I'd be major boned. Got the pump, but it turns out that the pump for the interceptor wasn't for my car. Mine had been mod'd by the COSPD, so it need a standard Crown Vic pump. Oy!

Then, as I was getting set to launch the "Recycling 4 the Needy," more car issues. Steering was an issue, again. As it turns out, instead of another, big issue [emissions inspection back around Sept/Oct cost $205+$45 for the tag], I just needed to drain my power steering, do a full flush [actually, I had to run 2 full flushes!], and put in PSF, and it's been good!

I am also talking with SCORE of Spokane, to work on making this more polished and professional, especially as I branch out, and seek grant funding for the "help4theneedy" project. In addition, we're looking to Network Churches, to help expand our repertoire, and maybe find an experienced grant writer.

As the holidays move ever, we wish everyone a safe and happy December!
